Denver Area Hotels Sold Out Democratic National Convention - August 23-29, 2008 Be aware that Denver Metro Area Hotels (including Boulder) are either completely sold out / blacked out due to convention blocks from the DMCVB or are selling at HIGH rates. Hotels have blacked out all negotiated rates for these dates.  If you have travelers planning to come to the area during this time, please note that this will certainly be an issue.  In addition, anticipate a significant rise in airfare and car rental rates along with limited availability between mid-August and early September. Please contact your agent for assistance with as much advance notice as possible.
